Our new single 'Spectral' is out today.

The lyrics in Spectral were initially inspired by Hugh’s ghostly, wandering guitar line in the chorus, which connected the track with the passing of a good friend who died by suicide.

The song is about the idea of being haunted. Haunted by the guilt of not being able to help a friend or read what was going on under the surface but also, in a positive sense, haunted by someone, that in some way, they are still kicking about with you. - Eoin

“The influence for the lyrics came from Rob’s organ line on the track, it has the same mechanical rhythm of a fairground waltzer. The song is set in a fairground with people and machines moving, a couple dancing, giving ground and winning ground and a tight rope walker diving and returning to the rope. All throwing themselves into something unknown but knowing they’ll return to the same place, like a waltzer spinning."

The album was recorded, over six days, during lockdown in March 2021 at Analogue Catalogue Studios in Newry NI with Daniel Fox of Gilla Band at the controls. We are delighted to finally share the album artwork with you and the video for our latest single Outlier wich was directed by A Parkes Films.
